Just wanted to let you all know that I am succeeding in my new healthy lifestyle. I am not eating past 6pm, upped my intake of water and run/walk everyday. I have not lost an ounce. So frustrating! I am trying so hard and am eating so healthy. I definately feel stronger and my legs look better. I know muscle weighs more than fat and all that. Has anyone else ever ran before? I am finding I cannot suck my stomach in anymore? Any words of advice?

Have you ever read a letter on dear abby or ann landers and thought, “Is this about me?” I read one during the weekend from a grandparents perspective on how they did not want to be used as babysitters so often. We have been using ours a lot and I thought that maybe someone is sick of it and sent it to the papers instead of talking to me directly. Just kidding! Well, maybe just a little serious.

Just a quick update to let you know we officially have a scooter! Rachel is doing awesome – she is moving everywhere! She is not going up the stairs yet (thank God!). She does this crab crawl and moves fast! The only downside is now that with all the physical therapy she is doing and sees different therapists all the time at CHOC – she is fearful around new people.
Seth is starting guitar lessons today and Audrey is starting ballet. I will let you know how that went.
I am doing good – I have been walking and beginning the running training every day almost. I have been eating healthier but have not noticed a weight loss yet. I can tell my body is changing shape a bit – it definately feels stronger. I am thinking I have to give up my diet soda. I have one can a day. Maybe I switch to every other day. What do you think?
