Hello all! Hope you all had a great turkey day.
Well, as most of you know, I have gone out on Black Friday now for a few years. It has been lots of fun getting most of my shopping done early and saving so much money. It makes for a long day because we are normally out of the house by 4am and return around one in the afternoon. I always have to work that night so I am dragging my feet by the end of the day.
This year while I was at Staples getting my husband some gadget, I saw a stamp for putting on your Christmas letters with the names Mr. and Mrs. Happy, who apparently live in San Diego. I thought it might be fun to stamp it on my tummy so Jon could see it later if we had some fun. (wink wink) Well, of course I was too tired by the time I got home and went off to work. The next day after spending about five minutes in the shower trying to scrub it off, it did not come off. Immediately I began thinking that I would be the only old lady in the retirement center with this stamp now hanging down to my knees. So, here it is on Sunday and I still have this cheap version of a tattoo on me and it shows no sign of coming off no matter what I do.
Lesson learned – do not stamp yourself while at any office supply stores.
Update: It is Thursday and it is finally off!
